The Swiss labour market in 2026 remains solid, but becomes more selective than in 2025. According to SECO, the unemployment rate was 3.2 % in January and February 2026, 3.1 % in March and 3.0 % in April 2026. In April 2026, Switzerland had 142,902 registered unemployed and 230,609 jobseekers.
